Lock In Daily is a habit-tracking platform that helps users build daily habits through challenges, track progress with streaks, and compete on community leaderboards. Our service includes:

- Progress tracking with visual calendars and streak counters
- Community leaderboards and milestone celebrations

- Premium features available through subscription
3. User Obligations
- Provide accurate, up-to-date information when creating or updating your account.
- Keep your login credentials confidential; notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
- Use the app in accordance with these Terms, all applicable laws, and third-party service terms (e.g., Clerk, Convex, PostHog).
- Respect community guidelines and other users' privacy.
- Do not engage in abusive, harassing, or disruptive behavior on community features.
4. Acceptable Use and Account Management
Lock In Daily is designed to provide a fair and sustainable service to all users. To maintain service quality and prevent abuse, we reserve the right to monitor usage patterns and take appropriate action when necessary.

We expect users to engage with Lock In Daily in a manner that is reasonable and consistent with personal habit-building goals. This includes maintaining reasonable usage volumes that align with personal development needs rather than commercial or automated purposes.
4.2 Account Restrictions and Suspension
Lock In Daily reserves the right to temporarily pause, restrict, or suspend access to your account if we detect usage patterns that appear to be excessive, automated, or potentially abusive. This may include, but is not limited to:
- Unusually high volume of challenges or interactions that exceed normal personal use
- Automated or scripted usage patterns that suggest non-human interaction
- Usage that appears to be for commercial purposes without appropriate authorization
- Attempts to manipulate leaderboards or gaming the system
- Harassment or inappropriate behavior toward other users
- Use of abusive, offensive, or unsafe usernames that violate community standards
- Any activity that could negatively impact service performance for other users
4.3 Notification and Appeal Process
If we implement usage restrictions on your account, we will notify you via email and provide an opportunity to appeal the decision. Restrictions are typically temporary and may be lifted once we verify that usage has returned to acceptable levels. For legitimate use cases that may require higher engagement, please contact our support team to discuss appropriate accommodations.
5. License to Access Lock In Daily Content
Provided you comply with these Terms of Use, Lock In Daily grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-commercial, revocable, and non-transferable license to access and use the content on our platform for personal, habit-building purposes only.
- You agree not to copy, record, or access content via automated means (e.g., scripts, bots, data-extraction tools) unless authorized by Lock In Daily in writing.
- If you purchase a subscription or license to access Lock In Daily features, it is for individual use only and cannot be shared with others.
- We may enforce reasonable limits on access—such as challenge creation limits or community interactions—to protect against unauthorized or abusive use.
6. Subscription and Payment Terms
6.1 Subscription Plans
- Access to premium features requires a paid subscription, managed via Apple In-App Purchase.
- Subscription fees, billing cycles, and trial periods are detailed within the app.
6.2 Auto-Renewal and Cancellation
- Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle unless canceled at least 24 hours before renewal.
- Manage or cancel subscriptions through your App Store subscription management.
- We do not process cancellations directly; follow the App Store instructions.
7. Refund Policy for Lock In Daily
All subscriptions are processed through Apple In-App Purchase. Refunds for subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store are handled directly by Apple and subject to their refund policy. Please contact Apple Support or visit the App Store for refund requests.
8. Intellectual Property Rights
- All Lock In Daily software, design, branding, and content (excluding your user-generated content) are owned or licensed by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.
- You retain ownership of your challenge progress, streaks, and personal data; by using our services you grant us a license to process and store that content as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Community Guidelines
Our community features are designed to foster positive motivation and support among users. To maintain a healthy environment:
- Respect other users and their privacy
- Avoid sharing inappropriate, offensive, or harmful content
- Do not harass, bully, or intimidate other users
- Use leaderboards and rankings as motivation, not competition that harms others
- Report any violations of these guidelines to our support team
10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
- Lock In Daily is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
- We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.
- We are not responsible for any habit-forming outcomes or life changes resulting from app usage.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Lock In Daily.
11. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Lock In Daily and its affiliates harmless from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:
- Your breach of these Terms or applicable laws.
- Your interactions or content that violate third-party rights or these guidelines.
